Our story
Teha Kim, founder of Kimu Korean Japanese Eatery, grew up in Kyoto, Japan and was raised by Korean parents.
Kimu was started to share Teha's passion of food and pay homage to both his Korean and Japanese heritage.
Teha has qualified as a chef in QLD 2006. Since then he developed his skills and high standards toward food while working for some of the most respected establishments in past years, including Okura Hotel in Kyoto, Japan and Vue de monde in Melbourne.

Kimu offers authentic based family recipes blending Korean and Japanese food with big and bold flavours.
We make a conscious choice to use seasonal local produce so you'll be able to taste the difference. It's fast, fresh, healthy and above all it`s delicious!
We specialise in catering. We offer special onsite cooking services from our food van, in-house catering or pre-ordered (drop off) deliveries.
